
Diaphragm Pressure Gauge With Electrical Output Signal
At any point where the process pressure has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, a signal is wanted to be transmitted to a central controller or remote control room, the model PGT43HP intelliGAUGE (US Patent No. 8,030,990) can be used. Due to the metallic construction of the pressure elements, these instruments have a high overpressure safety in the ranges of 40, 100 and 400 bar.
Applications:
- For measuring points with increased overpressure
- With liquid-filled case for applications with high dynamic pressure loads or vibrations (Model 433.50)
- For gaseous and liquid, aggressive and highly viscous or contaminated media, also in aggressive ambience
- Process industry: Chemical/petro-chemical, power stations, mining, on- and offshore, environmental technology, machine building and general plant construction

Stationary Parts:
- Receiver block. This joins the inlet pipe to the fixed end of the Bourdon tube (1) and secures the chassis plate (B). The two holes receive screws that secure the case.
- Chassis plate. The face card is attached to this. It contains bearing holes for the axles.
- Secondary chassis plate. It supports the outer ends of the axles.
- Posts to join and space the two chassis plates.
Moving Parts:
- Stationary end of Bourdon tube. This communicates with the inlet pipe through the receiver block.
- Moving end of Bourdon tube. This end is sealed.
- Pivot and pivot pin.
- Link joining pivot pin to lever (5) with pins to allow joint rotation.
- Lever. This is an extension of the sector gear (7).
