Antique Plating

Antique is a finish that we have been producing for many years. It is used in many industries and is most popular in the hardware industry. This finish can be produced on a variety of base metals. When protected with our clear e-coat this finish will provide excellent corrosion performance. Antique finish can be applied to stainless steel, steel, zinc die-cast, brass, ABS plastics and offers excellent performance. Spencer and spencer achieves this finish by nickel, copper, gold, silver-plating an item and then blackening the item with our black nickel process. Once this is done we relive the item to leave an antique finish. As a final step we apply a clear coating to the item to preserve it. The finish showed in the picture above is our standard color but we can produce this finish in a wide range of shades.
