The test specimen is fitted at top of unit with provision for height adjustment as per new amendment &Circulation. Double ball bearing shaft coupled with constant speed of 10rpm-geared motor to rotate the circular acrylic disk. The geared motor is Electrically coupled with the timer of 15mints. As per demand of the IS specified test. The different weights in cylindrical shape & bushes as per IS specification is given with the unit. It's used for routing test for insulation resistance & Electrial strength of switches, insulation material etc. as well as on line measurement of applied AC voltage, current & watt to load & other electrical parameters. As per IS 1293 - 1988 clause - 21. The socket outlet are mounted in normal used & the pulling force is applied in the direction similar to the normal used. Unique ball pressure is to used to check the minimum gravitational force at a specific point under constant temperature & time duration to check the quality of raw material of electrical socket as per IS- 1293 : 1988 clause 24.1.2 . The ball pressure is completely made up of SS-304 dully polished with centre pivot of 5 mm ball (2.5 mm radius) to exert a pressure of 20N on the surface of insulating material. The whole unit is being kept with sample in a heating oven having temperature of 125 deg. C +/ - 5 deg.C & is kept for one hour duration after the heating is over.
