Our range of Trace Heaters are fabricated with the elements of nichrome wire protected with Fiberglass, Teflon (PTFE) and braided SS fine gauge multi-wires. Tracing Heating is a system used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels. It takes the form of an electrical heating element run along the length of a pipe. The pipe is covered with thermal insulation to retain loss of heat from the pipe. Heat generated by the element further maintains the temperature of the pipe. Used to protect pipes from freezing, to maintain process temperatures for piping that must transport substances that solidify at ambient temperatures or to maintain a constant flow temperature in hot water systems. Electric trace heating cables are an alternative to steam trace heating when steam is not available.
