Screw Plug Heater
Screw plug heaters are used in almost every liquid heating application possible, including water, mild solutions, detergents, vegetable oil, aqueous solutions, tar, asphalt, petroleum products, plating chemicals, molten salt baths, grease, gas or grape juice. Screw Plug industrial heaters are used for heating gases as well. These are submersible heating elements that have been designed to transfer heat at a rapid rate, enabling quick liquid heat up. Majorly implemented in the food and beverage industry, laboratory clinics, applications involving hydraulic oils and lubricants. They also have few other uses such as heating flammable liquids or gases which require explosion-proof housing.
Various sheath, screw plug, and corrosion-resistant hardware materials are available. Optional thermocouples could also be provided for control or high limit protection along with a range of thermostatic controls.
