Pig Iron

The Pig Iron unit commenced commercial operations in 1994 with initial rated capacity of 120,000 tpa for manufacture of Pig Iron with 3 MW captive co-generation power facility. The facility was modernized and expanded in 2004 to a rated capacity of 210,000 tpa of Pig Iron and 11.43 MW captive co-generation of power involving capital outlay of INR 450 million.
