Metallurgical Coke

Metallurgical Coke making facility has come up at a Greenfield site which is away from the Pig Iron by about 50 km and is well connected by rail and road. The site is located at an equi-distance from major sea ports viz., Krishnapatnam, Chennai and Marmugao. The Bellary-Hospet has a total Metallurgical Coke requirement of 6.5 mtpa including SIL’s own requirement of 0.16 mtpa.
