Buffing

The Base Metal has to be prepared by Buffing, Glazing and Polishing prior to being able to achieve good plating at lower thicknesses. The Ronuk Buffing Range encompasses the Conventional Buffing Compositions for different applications i.e. metals as well as plastics and ABS:

EMERY:

All meshes ranging from 60,90,120 to flour.

BRUSHING EMERY-BE:

For very rough mild steel components to be used on Belt or Fibre or Sisal.

BRUSHING EMERY:

For mild steel as above and can be used with R:30 or AT or RR to obtain superior finishs.

RONUK 30: (R:30)

R:30 is a popular product and usefull for Non-ferrous metals i.e. Gold, Silver, Copper and Brass and also usefull for ABS. In combination with Brushing Emery or RR for mild steel.

RONUK ‘AT’ SPECIAL:

For Aluminium, ABS and Zinc Die Castings.

RONUK ‘RR’ GREENISH ASH:

Stainless steel watch components and useful in combination with Brushing Emery or Mirror or Ronubuff RR.

RONUK PLASTIC NO. 1:

Plastic No. 1 is for final finishs of Plastic and Silver.

RONUK MIRROR:

Final finish of stainless steel with Ronusteel for Chrome Buffing or used alone. As the based metal merits.

RONUK RR BUFFING COMPOSITION (GREY):

For combinations with Brushing Emery specially for rims and cycle components.

RONUBUFF RR:

For Nickel and Chrome Burning useful after Hard Chrome Plating.

RONUBUFF BLUESTAR (BIG):

Useful for stainless steel in combination of Ronusteel and an alternative Peerless/Alps Polish for polishing of Mild steel, Copper, Brass and Nickel.

RONUBUFF BLUESTAR (SMALL):

For watch industry for finishingand glazing of stainless steel.

RONUBUFF-WHITE:

For Buffing of Hard Chrome and with combination of Mirror on Stainless Steel.

RONUKSTEEL:

For stainless steel. Can be used for final finish in combination with Mirror or for cutting/glazing with Ronubuff RR Grey and/or Brushing Emery.

LS-10 LIQUID/SOLID:

For Horn, Marble Plastic, Buttons, Spectacle frames and ABS $ and Methacrylate Bakelite components. Phenolic Moulding.
