The primary supply in Lighting Transformer is connected to higher voltage source and secondary supply to load & neutral grounding connector. 

RESIN CAST LIGHTING TRANSFORMER
Om makes Dry type Lighting Transformer is complete encapsulation of primary and secondary winding in Epoxy resin. It helps to prevent penetration of moisture into coils. The cast resin offers very good protection against adverse ambient conditions. These transformers can work without disruption of service at 100% humidity.
Due to the high grade Insulation material, coil are non-hygroscopes & the Transformer can be switched or directly without pre drying even after a long period of services interruption. The insulation material used is glass fiber reinforced with epoxy resin of class 'F' which can with stand wide temperature variation transformer is practically non–inflammable by an electrical are special fire protection measures are not required.
Resin cast coil transformer are better in respect of impulse Voltage with stand strength higher dynamic short circuit with stand strength as compared to oil immersed and conventional dry type transformer because of fiber glass reinforced epoxy encapsulation.
The usual Input voltage 240V / 440V, and output of Lighting Transformer 110V / 220V/ 415V with added requirement of Customers.
