Vickers Hardness Tester Model JV - 50 (1Kgf.)
Vickers Hardness testing machine provides facility of built in optical system with graduated read out for measurement of diagonal indentation up-to 0.001mm accuracy on the focusing screen with 35X and 70X magnification and manual load selection. Loads of 1,5,10,15,20,30,40 and 50Kgf are provided for Vickers Tests. The swiveling unit in which the required indenture and objective lens are mounted are attached to the loading spindle guided in a set of six ball bearings. The "Justy" Pendulum Impact Testing Machine Model JIT-30 is designed for conducting CHARPY IZOD and impact tension tests. The test method confirms to IS: 1973, IS: 1499-1977, BS: 131 Part 2 and 3 IS: 1598-1977, BS: 131 Part I and ASTM E 32 47T.

Erichen Supping Tester
The Erichsen Cupping tester is used to assess the deep drawing quality of metal sheets and strips. This test can also be used for the paint film to cracking and/o detachment from a metal substrate whrn subjected to gradual deformation by indentation This is done by pressing a ball penetrator into a test specimen held between two flat surfaces until rupture commences or film cracks and measuring the depth of cup formed, which is a measure of the quality of the material or the film.
The "JUSTY" Erichsen Cupping Tester consists of a die, retaining ring, and a ball penetrator. The die and retaining ring are made from high carbon high chrome die steel and are hardened and ground to the specified dimensions to give a long operational life. The test specimen is in shape of a strip and is held between the die and the retaining ring. The die, which is mounted in a screwed ring, is brought in contact with one face of the test specimen is then pressed from one side by the ball penetrator, consisting of a hardened and ground carbon steel ball and back up rod, to from a cup.
The equipment is ruggedly built on a fabricated metallic base and is finished in bright chrome plating and hammertone painting.
