Colloid Mill –Vertical model is suitable for Grinding, homogenizing, emulsifying, and mixing of liquids, Ointments to
highly viscous products. It is based on rotor stator principle.
Process
Flow path of material is by feeding the product into the hopper, which then enters the milling chamber which
consists of a pair of Rotor-Stator, which grinds & reduces the products particle size, having a speed of 3000 R.P.M.
The product is processed by high sheer, pressure and friction between the Rotor & Stator. The product can be
further recirculated or discharged as it depends on the product & the reduction particle size required by the user.

Ø All contact parts of Colloid Mill are made out of S.S 316 & non-contact S.S 304
Ø High speed milling, homogenizing, mixing, emulsifying & size reduction of wet material.
Ø Water jacket provided to hopper, chamber & recirculation pipes for heat sensitive products.
Ø Belt Drive provided between motor shaft and rotor shaft for easy maintenance & safety of motor
