Activation

Activation has a strong impact on the formation of the phosphate layer. Our high-efficient activating agents marketed under the trade name Gardolene® contribute to the formation of a finely crystalline layer on the metal substrate

In an activation process, crystallization nuclei are created on the metal substrate to allow the formation of finely crystalline zinc-phosphate coatings.

With Gardolene®, we offer a powerful technology. Our activating agents in combination with tailor-made Zincphosphate technologies materially contribute to generating finer layers and shortening the time required to obtain a uniform layer during treatment with phosphating solutions.
