Iron Removal

Water Supply from borewells do contain Dissolved iron, which when comes in contact with air, gets oxidized and forms a brownish precipitate.

 

To remove iron various process such as aeration, chemical dosing followed by filtration is adopted. However the Manganese green sand filtering medium provides an exclusive for removal of excess iron.
