Industrial
AFCONS has executed general civil engineering works, including industrial buildings such as workshop, dry dock complexes, cooling water pump houses, shopping malls for Piramal, now popularly known as "CROSSROADS", and the work of turbine buildings, tunnels/trenches, D.M. Plants and associated civil works for Nuclear Power Corporation. Our list of Industrial Structures also includes civil works for Reliance for their Jamnagar Refinery Complex which included industrial building, Intake Channel, Culvert, Compound Wall, Effluent Treatment and Outfall.

Bridges, Flyovers, Viaducts, Elevated Corridors
AFCONS has been a prominent name in the construction of bridges/flyovers/viaducts on pile foundations/well foundations and open foundations. We have built bridges for roads as well as railways. We specialise in building superstructures comprising pre-stressed concrete box girders of spans ranging from 20 mts to 150 mts. AFCONS has constructed bridges of length in excess of 20,000 m and total deck area of bridges constructed by us is more than 3,00,000 sq.mts
 

AFCONS has executed more than 2700 lane kms. of road works/expressways projects in India funded by World Bank/Asian Development Bank/National Highways Authority of India and the work has been executed under the supervision of reputed international consultants.

The new age rail network is finding the rise of the METRO. AFCONS’ first metro project began with tunneling work for Kolkata in the late eighties. Today we are positioned as one of the leaders in executing rail and metro projects across India.Our portfolio comprises of 5 elevated and 2 underground metro projects, totaling approximately 25 kms of metro corridor and 10 metro stations. Our success in this sector is the result of high-end technology and machinery deployed by us in all our projects.

AFCONS recently ventured into Onshore Oil & Gas projects and the projects include laying of land and submarine pipelines. We have executed two-and-half-kilometer long pipeline across the Thane Creek for HPCL and NOCIL. A major feature of this was the use of 200 Tonne capacity linear winch for laying the pipe by bottom pull method.

We are exploring the possibility of building Oil & Gas Fabrication Yard at Mahua, Gujarat. Our DPR is accepted by Govt. of Gujarat and a formal MOU is also signed.

AFCONS has ventured into the field of Offshore Oil & Gas in 2008 and has been successful in bagging a prestigious ' MHSR-II (A) ICPR Process platform Project' for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, costing approximately $ 366.24 Million .

Recently, AFCONS bagged a $290 million contract to develop HRD process platform for ONGC. The contract has been awarded to a consortium led by AFCONS Infrastructure with Technip KT India and THHE Malaysia.

We are constructing nine adjacent tunnels aggregating about 10 Km in Jammu region for KRCL. We have also been entrusted with another Tunnel Project valuing USD 325 Mn. from the Border Roads Organisation (In JV with Strabag of Austria). AFCONS entered into the field of tunnelling in the late eighties when it carried out tunnelling work for Calcutta Metro Railway, wherein a special blade shield technique was used for the construction of tunnel in soft soil. The complete blade shield was designed and fabricated indigenously by AFCONS.
