Alumimium Foil Separator - General Description : | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Aluminium Foil separator machine is used to open/separate the paired foils into two rolls of maximum 600 mm diameter. A side slitting system is also to provided with the machine for final material at re-winder. The un-winder stand for particular length of the spool have two side pedestals, mounted on base plate grouted on the floor. Lateral movement of the pedestals is through operation of hydro motors. If needed, a pit can be incorporated for facilitating mounting of coil car. Hydraulic control is through hydro motors for clamping of the spools & centering of the coils.
The loading of the un-winder coil is generally done with the help of overhead crane. This process does not cause any loss in production since running time for light gauge foil (9 micron to 40 micron) with 1200 mm outside diameter is quite long. Maximum line speed of the Aluminium Foil separator is 400 mtr./minute. Therefore generally un-winder coil handling equipment is not provided. However as an option, hydro motor controlled coil car can be provided. Siemens make Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is provided for the digital DC drives and auxiliary functions. |

Adjoining faces of ball shaft spacers act as individual slip-clutches and each slit strip is free to wind at its own speed and tension, regardless of the size of adjacent wound rolls.

Nip Unit - Consisting of one 150 mm diameter balanced, ground and hard chromed steel roller (driven by main motor ) and one pneumatically pressured rubber nip with both side control. One adjustable roll is positioned before nip to remove wrinkles, if any, from unwind material.
