This Filter consists of a number of horizontal filter elements mounted on a central shaft. Depending on the application, the filter material clamped between the filter elements may be cellulose paper, textile filter fabric, needle felt or s.s sintered woven wire mesh.

The filter is especially suitable for batch processes or as a safety filter with a small solids load. Cleaning is done manually by removing the plates from the shaft one by one and cleaning them or by change/replace after filter septum.

The Subodh Filters Multi Tube Filter is a fully automatic, batch-operated filter with filter elements arranged vertically inside a pressure vessel. It is used as a deep bed or precoat filter for clarifying liquids with low solids content.

The suspension is fed into the pressure vessel and continuously pumped until the required cake thickness is reached. The filter cake is formed on the outside of each filter candle. The filtrate is discharged from the inside of the candles through immersion pipes. After filtration, the filter cake can be washed, reslurried or dried. Finally, the cake is lifted by a blast of compressed Air, Nitrogen and discharged.

Depending on the application, the filter material like textile filter fabric, needle felt or s.s sintered woven wire mesh can be used.

Subodh Filters also provides complete multi Tube filter installations including fittings, instrumentation, piping, pumps, tanks, skids and control systems. The plants have a modular design for easy transport and assembly.

he Bag Filters supplied by Subodh Filters are available in many versions. Bag Filters are typically polishing, safety or residual volume filters & are only suitable for liquids with low solids concentrations. Both the single & multiple bag filters are easy to use and maintain.

Their suitability for high volume flows in combination with their relatively low price often makes this type of filter an investment which recoups its cost within a reasonably short time.

The Nutsch or Single – plate filter is a real batch filter and is versatile & flexible in use .It too can be used in conjunction with a wide range of filter media, such as paper, textile filter fabric, needle felt, membrane filter cloth, s.s sintered woven wire mesh.

The filtering plate base is positioned horizontally, which makes washing or further treatment of the filter cake very easy. On request, the Nutsch may be equipped with a mixer for continuous or re-suspension of solids.

Flexibility is the hallmark of the cartridge filter. Most Subodh Filters cartridge filter are suitable for a broad range of available filter elements, both the ‘disposable ‘type made of S.S. sintered woven wire mesh, which can be easily cleaned.

Cartridge filter are used exclusively as ‘polishing’ filters, with retention of 0.2 to approximately 100 microns.

Filtration Principles

Subodh Filters offers MF- and UF- membranes for both cross-flow and dead-end filtration membrane area from 0.02m2 to 8.02m2.

The cross-flow filtration principles ensures continuous removal of particles from the membrane surface to ensure a continuous cleaning. Liquids with high content of suspended solids can be treated when combining cross-flow filtration with the 5x5mm channel dimension.

The dead-end filtration principle is the most cost-effective operation for applications with low concentration of particles

Description
 
Rotary brush strainers reduce the load on centrifuges by removing the coarse solids from liquids. The coarse solids are retained and scraped off the inside of the strainer by the rotating brushes.

 
They sink to the bottom of the cone-shaped container and are removed from time to time either manually or automatically. The strainer can be cleaned by flushing water through an inlet.
