Advancement in blow-moulded containers that the market has witnessed in these particular segments are unsymmetrical bottle design for better aesthetics and easy grip, multilayer bottles, bi-layer soft-touch bottles, multi-cavities for higher output, bottles with transparent view strip, in-mould labelling, bottle with angled neck, blowfill- sealed containers, double chamber containers, extrusion blow-moulded tubes and colour gradation. Colour gradation is a new concept in the personal care packaging segment in the US and Europe. This concept is yet to come to India.
