On Line Rotary Shearing Machines
REDSON has designed and developed the On Line Rotary Shearing System to directly Blank circles continuously from a coil, thus eliminating the requirement of Guillotine Shears, Mechanical Hydraulic Presses, Blanking Tooling etc.
The System
On Line Rotary Shearing System Consists of the following:

The Principle
The Principle of Shearing Circles is by On Line Rotary Shearing Method - that is, while the sheet is held rigidly, a pair of cutters rotates around the cutting tool and produces a perfect circle.
Online Rotary Shearing can be done in a single row, double row or in triple row where 2 / 3 Nos. of On Line Rotary Shears are placed diagonally opposite to perform Jig-jag Blanking.
Hydraulic Decoiler and Hydraulic Straightner are provided to decoil and straighten the decoiled sheet. After circle blanking by the On Line Rotary Shear, Hydraulic Cut Off Shear cuts off the scrap.
The Advantages
Blanking of Circles out of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum & other non-ferrous materials, from coils -eliminating the need to make squares and hence the elimination of Guillotine Shear, Presses and Blanking Tooling.
Blanking of large Dia Circles up to 1500mm, which otherwise is very difficult to produce from presses, which should be of high capacity & huge Blanking Tooling.

Airless Roto Blast Machines
Conveyorised Cylinder Roto Blast Machines
These machines are suitable for Shot Blasting of Cylinders - LPG, CNG, Oxygen, Acetylene, Ammonia, Nitrogen etc., Pipes and other Cylinders/ pipes enter from one end and come out fully blasted from the other.
The cylinder conveying system of a unique skew designer to rotate and move the cylinder / pipes linearly on the conveyor. The machines are totally automatic save loading & unloading.
Conveyorised Roll Blasting Machines
The Machines are suitable for Shot Blasting of Steel Mill Rolls of HCHCr, after Grinding to obtain mat finish on the cold rolled sheets. In design these machines are similar to cylinder Roto Blast Machine except the skew conveyor design is robust to carry loads up to 5/6 Tonnes.
The mill rolls are moved on the skew conveyor to obtain mat finish on the cylindrical surface. There are no moving parts, bearings, inside the Blasting Chamber except the wear resistant rolls.
Conveyorised Plate Roto Blast Machines
Heavy plates up to 100mm thickness, 3 meter wide and unlimited length are Shot Blasted in the plate blasting machines. Steel Plates enter the machines from one side vertically, gets shot blasted on both sides, and comes out perfectly Shot Blasted with a silver Grey finish.
Shot Blasting of huge fabrications, railway bogies, turbine bodies, ship building items etc., is a very difficult task and is never be reached for cleaning. The only solution is Shot Blasting & Primary rust preventing coating of steel plates prior to fabrication.
STRIP Descaling Machines
The low carbon hot rolled steel strips are shot blasted in the strip Descaling machines to remove the mill scale/rust prior to cold rolling. These machines can totally eliminate acid pickling plant and or assist acid pickling plant in the existing set ups to increase the speeds.
The Shot Blasting of HR Steel Strips is a dry-descaling process with the airless roto blast principle. Any number of Roto Blasts can be provided to achieve desired speed and finish of HR Strips. The machines are totally automatic.
Swing Table Roto Blast Machine
The Machines are ideally suited for Forgings, Castings, miscellaneous fabricated items for batch production with a mix of large & small items. These machines are available in various swing table diameters. 1200 Dia, 1800 Dia, 2000 Dia, fir respective batch loads of 1200 Kgs , 1800kgs and 2000kgs.
The components are spread on the table, the shot blasting process starts for the batch production. Another table can be provided, so that loading / unloading can take place simultaneously.
Spin Hanger Roto Blast Machines
The design consists of over head conveyor which transfers the components into the Blast Chamber. The conveyor hanger rotates the components either a single piece weighting up to 15 Tons or a batch of components hanging on a hook-with a power drive.
The roto Blasts are mounted sideways. Two conveyor tracks can be provided for blasting and loading & unloading components simultaneously.
TUMBLE Roto Blast Machines
The machine is suitable for Shot Blasting for smaller components - casting & Forging with a high out put.
The components tumble in the trough of the conveyor and gets blasted thoroughly all-round.
Shot Peening Machine
Shot Peening is done to remove internal stresses and increase the fatigue strength of the components. The machines are suitable for leaf springs, drill rods,
coil springs, axles, gears, connecting rods, crank shaft etc., The machine is conveyorised and is automatic.
Pneumatic Blast Rooms
Pneumatic Blast Room is suitable for Shot Blasting of huge fabricated items, castings etc., where the size of the item is too big. It consists a blast room which is totally enclosed and provided with proper ventilation and lighting. The operator shot blasts the required surfaces with pneumatic blast nozzle (compressed air and steel shots). The machines include automatic recycling system of shots screw conveyor & bucket elevator, dust collector, doors, lighting etc
The compressed air requirement would be 5.7 meters3/min. ( 230 CFM ) for each 10mm nozzle and 3.5 meters3/min (125 CFM ) for each 8mm nozzles at air pressure of 5 kg/Cm2 (75 PSI ). The surface cleaning rate would be appropriately 12 sq. meters/hour for each 10mm nozzle. The components can be loaded on trolley which moves with mechanized winch. Size of the blast room can be decided depending upon maximum size of the jobs.
Pneumatic Blast Cabinets
The machines are suitable for Shot Blasting of delicate items, nonferrous items, small batch quantities like tool room applications, die cast parts, small forging & castings
For Trimming Joggling, Beading and Forming Sheet Metal Pressings and Deep Drawn Components.
Design:
All the sheet metal components which are deep drawn in a press require cutting off/removal of the flash or scrap. This operation is quickly and most economically done in one single pass effortlessly between two cutters by Universal Auto Trimmers, when compared to huge trimming dies and presses and the associated costs.
The components can be of any shape and size - round, rectangular, square or of any odd cross sections. The pressings may or may not have end flanges after deep draw-that is the end portion of drawing is at right angles or straight drawn. Universal Auto Trimmers are suitable for trimming, beading, joggling and forming of any size and shape of components whether they are straight drawn or the scrap is at right angle. The diagonal length is no bar.
The machines are designed with latest technology available in the sheet metal cutting line. The cutter shafts move in and out in a rigid slide and are driven by an electro pneumatic system. The component is trimmed/ formed by the cutter, while being driven by the cutters. For component having no end flange, suitable holders shall be provided.
Universal Auto Trimmer are manufactured for trimming / beading / joggling operation up to 5mm thickness of sheet in mild steel, the diagonal length being no bar. The trimming speeds are varied between 5 to 15 meters for minute. For components having end flanges, almost separate tooling are provided. Machines are supplied with complete electrically and push button controls so that even unskilled workers can handle the machines.
The rotary shearing machines are ideally suited for cutting/shearing circles, segments, strips of unlimited length, ring shearing, contour shearing, blanking, flanging and beading operations, shearing of cutouts, shearing of notches etc.

The production can either for a small batch quantity or for large volume production. The machines operate at high speeds up to 30 meters per minute.
Rotary Shears replace expensive dies & tools, and presses. Quality of shearing is as good as that of precision press Blanking.
Rotary Shears can shear circles with high accuracies of +/- 0.05 mm and can be used for production of stator and rotor stampings with additional accessories like Ball screws and PLC Controls.
OPERATION
The square / octagonal sheet is held rigidly by the sheet holder frame while two cutters shear the sheet to required circle diameter rotating the sheet.
CONSTRUCTION
The constriction of Rotary shearing Machine consists a bed, a Cutter Holder Frame, a Sheet Holder frame and Mechanical & Hydraulic Drive Units.
Rotary shears are fabricated out tested rolled steel plants for heavy duty continuous operation. The two rotary cutters are driven by gear drives and motors. The upper shaft moves vertically and is powered by gear drive / Hydraulic systems. Sheet holders frame moves on the machined guide ways of the bed to adjust for different diameters. The Sheet Clamping is by Manual / Hydraulic power.
An indecent Hydraulic Systems is provided. Complete system of electrical controls for a Push Button Operation, Motors, Hydraulic Controls are provided. Necessary PLC Controls, Ball Screws etc, are supplied as optionals.

Construction: The Press Frames and Slides are steel plate heavy duty fabricated structures, stress relieved and machined. Provided with adjustable and replaceable guide ways to achieve close tolerances and long life of dies and tools. The clamping surface of Bed (Bolster), Rams slides have T-Slots across corners as a standard or as ordered.
The Bed (Bolster and Ram slide surfaces are machined and ground (or hand scrapped for close tolerances to achieve international quality standards.
Hydraulic System : The hydraulic cylinders are manufactured out of tested hydraulic tubes, bored and honed to give smooth finish. The piston rods are made out of alloy steel bars, machined ground and hard chrome plated. Phosphor Bronze Bushings and high quality seals / packings are used for long lasting performance of cylinders.
Independent / Built in power packs are built with high & low pressure piston/ vane or gear pumps, DC valves, pressure regulators, un loader valves, manifold system (avoiding piping) filler breather, level gauges, pressure switches and other safety features.
To achieve most economical results, fast approach and pressing speeds are provided. Independent Pressure Controls are provided for each of the cylinders to achieve the best results. Even with high approach speeds, soft closing on dies is achieved by Hydraulic Braking equipment.s
Controls: All electrical controls are provided for Push Button Operation for single, semi auto / auto operation. Control panels & control stations are provided as standard equipment.
