Description
The chemical resistance of Aramid allows this packing to be used in connection with most chemicals (except very corrosive ones), water, steam, oils, solvents, etc., while its extreme abrasion resistance makes it ideal for use with abrasive sand, slurry and other gritty media.
Material
Braided PTFE Yarn diagonally braided from pure PTFE-yarn, reinforced throughout its body with durable Aramid. Impregnated with PTFE-dispersion and silicone oil. Ideal for rotary and piston pumps, mixers, stirrers, digesters and valves in a wide variety of industries: pulp and paper, petrochemical, sugar, fertilizer, food industry, etc. This can be used in connection with many different media including abrasive ones: cold and hot water, steam, solvents, oils and greases, diluted acids and dyes, brine, sewage, slurries, etc.
