3 Micron Borosilicate Glass Fiber media type Moisture Separator
This unique design 3 Micron Borosilicate Glass Fiber media type Moisture Separator is very effective for removal of Moisture from compressed Air. It prevents dirt, dust & water particles to be carried into the pneumatic system.
It is recommended to install this Separator just before application point for better performance.
Water cooled After cooler with Moisture Separator is a Shell and Tube type Heat Exchanger which reduces the temperature of compressed Air and as a result Moisture from the Compressed Air is Separated. Cooling is done by circulating water from the opposite side of the Compressed Air inlet in Aftercooler. The Aftercooler is designed in such a way that the Cooling Water passes through the Shell in turbulent flow, resulting maximum heat dissipation from the Compressed Air and hence more quantity of Moisture is separated in Moisture Separator.Watercooled Aftercooler with Moisture Separator from 10 CFM to 1000 CFM and working Pressure from 150 PSIG to 1000 PSIG are available.
Parth Activated Carbon Filter is used to remove oil & moisture particles from Compressed Air. It contains Activated Carbon granuels which absorb the Oil and Oil vapour from the Compressed Air. Activated Carbon Filter is to be installed after the Air Receiver. If absolutely dust free air is required, an on line Filter should be installed at the outlet of Activated Carbon Filter before application point.

Before discussion about dryers, it is very essential to define Dew point temperature,which is the unit of measurement for dryness of compressed air.
DEW POINT temperature is the temperature at which the moisture, which is in the compressed air (in vapour form). condenses to liquid form.
PRESSURE DEW POINT termperature is the dew point temperature of the compressed air,when under pressure.
ATMOSPHERIC DEW POINT temperature is the dew point temperature of the air when it is at atmospheric pressure.
The conversion chart from pressure depoint temperature to atmospheric dew point temperature is provided at the end of this text.
