Edge Gliding

Automatic edge gilding machine is specially design for Bible, Koran and diaries.

State of art automatic Edge gilding machine is similar to any elliptical perfect binding machine with four clamps. Books are held tightly with bottom and side register in clamp with a simple quick clamp. Grinding stations has three stages with coarse fine and finer grades. Book block finally de-dusted and polished with pneumatic jets.

Gilding foil is transferred to block edge with controlled temperature and pressure. No chemical or liquid is used in gilding process resulting in non sticky gilding. Books are released in hopper gently after gilding.

Mirror finished and non sticky gilding is achieved by continuous rotation at high speed gilding.
