Combination of a fixed end and a metallic moving end determines the start and stop positions of the switching function.

Each contact cell contains one or two contacts, each contact having double make, double break action. The make action is actuated by the contact spring. The break action is actuated by the cam. Contact surfaces are of hard Silver alloy with Nickel electrolyte coating. The standard switch is supplied with a knob, front legend plate indicating switch position & a fixing plate for mounting on a panel.

Our range of house service cutouts is developed using molded non-hygroscopic phenolic powder. The fuse present in it can be easily replaced along with self-locating fuse clip. Furthermore, phosphor bronze spring clips maintain high contact pressure. Combinations of these cutout types can be easily develop by using three phase system.
