PROCESS OPERATION OF MULTIJET AMPOULE AND VIAL WASHING MACHINE

The dump loading procedure may be used, if ampoules/vials are received in ready to dump boxes, which will have exactly into the same number of ampoule/vial and the pitch, as loading tray. EXTERNAL CLEANING WITH AMPOULE WASHER

This machine comes with 3 external cleaning solutions. They are mounted in a stationary position above the ampoule and it is very easy to adjust them to a particular angle, height or lateral position. Every cleaning station is supplied cleaning media-making via a pipe that is connected to the cleaning media-making washing area.
 

AMPOULE CLEANING MEDIA PRINCIPAL:

The synchronization of WFI, purified water and cleaning solution with ampoule is established by reciprocating motion. It is designed in such a way that these media are only used when the needles move in the forward direction. It reduced WFI consumption by collecting the WFI in re-circulating water tank so that it can be used later in the pre washing station. In addition, we also offer change part sets for the high speed rotary ampoule washing machine.

PROCESS OPERATION OF AUTOMATIC LINEAR VIAL WASHING MACHINE:

Three-cycle rinsing allows flexibilities of various wash cycles such as fresh water, dematerialized water etc. as per the rinsing requirement of bottle. All the pumps are made of SS and all the water contact parts are made of SS 316 on a heavy base of SS structure. In tunnel design is such that separation is maintained between feeding zone and discharge zone of the cleaned containers. All the mechanical drives are separated and isolated from the washing zone. PROCESS OPERATION OF AUTOMATIC AIRJET & VACUUM CLEANING MACHINE:

Containers are fed in upright position on a scrambler and further fed to feed worm, where containers are automatically inverted.
The synchronized mechanism feed the container one by one through a chamber which is under negative pressure. A series of nozzles blow air in the container at a high pressure. The dust is collected in dust collector box through exhaust fan.
The container is further fed through the synchronized mechanism and feed worm. It is once again upright position and comes out duly cleaned for further operation.

CLOSED AMPOULE FILLING MACHINE PROCESS OPERATION

Pre-Sterilized D Type Ampoule tray can be directly loaded into slant hopper of the machine. The magazine type cassette delivers closed ampoules on moving eccentric ampoule rack in one/two/four/six/eight’s. Ampoule rotating lever rotate the ampoules and extreme pressure of the gas heat the ampoules. Ampoule opening process is done by the manner of pre-heating and opening with the pressure of the gas (LPG + oxygen). During the stoppage of rack sequentially ampoule opening, pre-gassing, filling, post gassing, pre-heating and final sealing is achieved. Filled & sealed ampoules are collected automatically in SS tray in upright position without hand touch.

Double Cone Blender

DCB is an efficient and versatile machine for mixing of dry powders and granules homogeneously. Lab model is used in laboratory for research work so it is also called as Lab Double Cone Blender. All the contact parts are made of stainless steel. The effective volume for optimum homogeneity is between 35-70% of gross volume. AUTOMATED DRUM LOADING SYSTEM:

Conical Blenders can be furnished with a PLC controlled automated drum loading system. With one full revolution of the blender, the entire contents of a product container (Fiber, Plastic, or Stainless Steel Drum) can be transferred into the blender and back into drums after mixing, in a dust free operation. This system eliminates costly mezzanine platforms, and other feed systems which require special docking mechanisms that create risk of spillage. During loading, the operator simply rolls the drum onto the roller conveyor, raises the lift to squeeze the drum against the valve discharge flange seal, and initiates the oad cycle. The blender slowly rotates one revolution while automatically opening and closing the valve, and stopping at the zero position. The empty drum is lowered, and replaced with a full container to repeat the cycle until all contents are charged. During discharging an empty drum is positioned on the roller conveyor and sealed against the valve discharge flange seal. The operator opens/closes the valve to fill the drum, lowers the drum, and replaces with an empty drum to repeat the cycle until all contents have been discharged.

MIXING BOWL:

The mixing bowl is circular in shape and it has large diameter and flat base. The top part of the bowl is designed in conical shape so that it is easy to mix cohesive powders. It is very sturdy as it is made of SS 316/ 316L. The drive shaft is surrounded by a tube with large diameter, where it enters the base part of the bowl.

It has the main drive, shaft seal on the top of the tube so that it can be above the normal powder level. The shaft seal comes with an automatic air purge. On flushing the seal housing and drive shaft with cleaning water, discharge port drains it away from the machine. As per the design, the multi-bladed impeller is fixed close to the mixing bowl base and the chopper is fitted on the mixing bowl wall. To softly disturb the binder solution and create the vortex of the material being mixed, the impeller and the chopper comes with dual speed options.
 

GRANULATOR:

A high-speed lab rapid mixer granulator efficiently assists the blending of powder and breaks the product to granule of desired size.

The granulator rotation is available in two speeds - 1500 or 3000 RPM. The granulator head is very sturdy as it is made of polished stainless steel and it can be easily removed for cleaning.

The Granular Shaft includes Air Purged Seal where it connects to the bowl.

The motor comes with removable stainless steel covers as per the cGMP norms.

ONLINE CO- MILL

It has the online CO-Mill on the discharge port that reduces the oversized lumps. It results in a reduction of drying time by approximately 20%. As the lumps are small products, they can be uniformly dried at lower temperatures. Hence providing it a longer shelf life and eliminating casing & capping of tablets due to improper drying.
 

SIDE DISCHARGE VALVE:

Side discharge valve operated by ASS spindle connected to pneumatic cylinder in closed position, is given on the bottom side. The gate is flushed with the contour of the bowl.
For easy cleaning, it has a cover with removable silicone rubber seal that gives access into the chute.
To avoid the starting of valve or the motors at the time of cleaning operation, a safety lock is provided at the discharge port.
To meet the cGMP standards, the pneumatic cylinder is covered with stainless steel shroud.

Horizontal Plate Type Filter Press

Horizontal Plate Type Filter Press also known as Sparkler Filter Press, It redefines the easy operation process, engineering process with robustness, and compact filtration. This horizontal plate-type filter press is suitable for syrup, chemicals, beverages, oils, and liquid filtration processes. It is a completely leak-proof and enclosed structure. The product that needs to undergo the process of filtration is fed in the shell through a suitable pump working under positive pressure. Here the liquid further flows inside towards the downwards direction through filter plates present inside. It is then guided to the peripheral holes through filter press openings present on sides that enter the plates. With the increasing pressure of the liquid, the foreign particles are held by the Filter media. The clear filtrate is allowed to pass through the formation of the central channel due to pressure cups interlocked to the outlet. The process of filtration continues until the filtrate rate slows down too much due to the cake resistance or either the unit’s cake holding capacity gets exhausted. Thus the clear filtrate is obtained from the bottom while the impurities get retained on the filter. The filter also has a scavenging arrangement that is responsible for getting the liquid completely filtered. Sigma Mixers (Kneader) is modern heavy-duty mixer specially designed to produce uniform mixing and kneading of highly viscous materials. this consists two shafts of 'Z' shapes blades moving in opposite direction at different speeds. Dry Heat Sterilizer

Sterilization by dry heat has become increasingly popular worldwide due to two main special factors first the need of sterilizing small objects, especially ampoules, syringes and secondly for de-pyrogenation of manufacturing apparatus which is impossible in a steam sterilizer. Dry heat sterilization and dehydrogenation process is mainly used for complete destruction and removal of all micro-organisms by means of dry heat. Bung Washer Cum Processor

Rubber Stoppers Bungs (electrometric closures for drug containers) are mainly used in stoppering vials and it is necessary to sterilize these as they are in direct contact with the final product. Though the trend of using pre-sterilized bungs from the market is still prevalent, their viability is still a question, owing to the various handling & transportation issues leading to questions on sterility.
Bung Processor cum steam sterilizer enables customers to reap benefits of ‘washing and sterilizing’ from single equipment. The bungs are loaded into a ‘drum’ and later placed into the sterilizer. The entire operation is done via PLC where in the pre-set program determines the wash sequence (Eg. Detergent Wash, WFI Wash & Silicon Treatment) followed by a final sterilization using HPHV cycle. This ensures complete sterility for the bungs. These bungs can later be unloaded in “sterile pouches/ bags” and transferred to the filling room, usually under laminar air flow conditions.
Lodha has designed a unique ‘drum’ that has the capability for auto unloading of the bungs, which eliminates the intermediate ‘handling’ of bungs. Also, with expertise you can look forward to special feature like preservative & Hot Air treatment with HEPA Filters for enhanced results.

Super Heated Water Spray Sterilizer

Terminal sterilization provides a higher degree of sterility assurance than aseptic processing is well understood and leads regulatory agencies around the world to require that if the product can be terminally sterilized it must be. The technology of hot water sterilization with counter pressure has been developed specifically for the terminal treatment of solutions in sealed containers.
The working principle is based on automatic counter pressure by injection of compressed air into the chamber during the entire cycle, to minimize the differential pressure across the containers generated by exposure to heat. The water shower over the product ensures that a uniform temperature distribution is maintained throughout the chamber during the sterilization phase. The high rate of water circulation and the two-stage water distribution system ensures accurate and homogenous temperature distribution in the product to be sterilized. Since the water comes into physical contact with the container the heat transfer is more efficient and the process efficiency is not affected by air pockets. The pressure in the chamber is continuously adapted to the internal pressure of the containers and the entire process can be controlled easily and accurately.

 

Pure Steam Generator

A Pure Steam Generator is recommendable for the production of pure steam. Also, pure steam should be used in place of filtered plant steam. The steam produced by a pure steam generator is used for sterilization of piping distribution systems, autoclaves, vessels, and sterile room humidification. This helps in the prevention of contamination of surfaces by particulate materials or biological and organic organisms like Pyrogens which remains ineffective in the case of plant steam.

A turntable is an efficient horizontal machinery with a rotational mechanism to transfer the objects conveyors connected in an angular pattern. A turntable is also known as “Scambler”. PROCESS OPERATION - ONLINE VIAL & BOTTLE INSPECTION MACHINE

The central conveyor belt brings the bottle from the capping machine conveyor. These bottles are automatically bifurcated on the two adjoining conveyor belts & further on the side tables for operators sitting on either side of the table. The operators in turn pick up the bottles & visually inspect the bottles in the alternate white & black background to check for any particles in the liquid filled, sealed & breakage of bottle. After inspection the bottles are placed in the central track, which is transfer for labeling.
