Quinalphos

Description : QUINALPHOS is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action. By penetrating the plant tissues translaminar action, exhibits a quick effect.

Chemical Name : O, O diethyl O-2-quinoxalinyl phosphorothioate.

Specifications :
The product conforms to IS : 8072 (1984) 
a) Appearance : Reddish brown clear liquid
b) Quinalphos content by GLC : 70% (w/w) minimum
c) Acidity (as H2SO4) : 0.4% (w/w) maximum
d) Moisture Content by Karl Fischer method : 0.1% (w/w) maximum 
e) Specific gravity at 25OC : 1.04 minimum
f) Material insoluble in acetone : 0.1% (w/w) maximum

Formulations : Emulsifiable concentrate 25% w/w, Granules 5% and Dust 1.5%

Compatibility : Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides etc.

Toxicity :
a) Mammalian toxicity : WHO classification : Class II “moderately hazardous”
b) Environmental toxicity : Quinalphos is highly toxic to fish and birds.

Shelf-life : One year under normal storage conditions

Packing : Technical Grade : 225kg approved epoxy lacquered M.S. Drums.

Formulation :
Liquid : 200 Lit UN approved MS Lacquered or MS Polylined Drums.
