Our paint booths are equipped with various equipments such as paint arrestor filters, blowers, extraction/washing chambers, filters etc which are manufactured and integrated under stringent quality standards. These features are properly designed as per the product and customer requirement to ensure that the optimum level of air draft is generated to assist in the removal of the over-sprayed paint from the air and improve the finish quality of the components.
We have supplied spray painting booths for wide range of applications across various industries including, but not limited to:
   a)  Automobile and Automotive Ancillaries
   b)  Heavy or Sheet Metal Fabrication
   c)  Equipments manufacturing
   d)  Wood Finishing
   e)  Space Research & Aeronautical components
   f)  Plastic Industry, etc.

Our Spray Paint Booths provide the following benefits:
Better Finish Quality - Spray Paint booth allows painting in a dirt-free environment and exhausts the over-sprayed paint particles away from the component providing better finish quality
Paint Savings - Spray booths help optimize air drafts, which lessens overspray and keeps more paint on the product.
Better Working Environment- The basic principle of painting booth ensures that the operators always breathes fresh air, thereby protecting him from the harmful effects of over-sprayed paint and solvent vapors.
Environmental Friendly- Paint treatment and solvent dilution level in the paint booth is maintained to levels which are permissible preventing any harm to the environment.

Types of Spray Painting Booths:
Based on the application, components and the surface finish quality, Gel Engineering has a wide range and types of paint booths to cater to every possible kind of application and industry
A) Based on the Filtering media used:
Based on the types of paint filtering media used, Painting Booths are broadly classified as:

1) Water-wash type:
In the water wash spray booth, a stream of air at very high velocity licks the surface of the water, entraining a large of water in the air. The over-sprayed paint particles remain in the water while the solvent vapors are exhausted out.

2) Dry-back Type:
Over-sprayed paint particles are exhausted towards an extraction chamber at optimum velocity due to the draft created by the exhaust blowers. These paint particles pass through two stages of filtration wherein they get trapped, thereby allowing only solvent vapors to exhaust out.

B) Based on the Air Draft Created:
Each of the Dryback or Waterwash type paint booth are customized based on the site conditions, size and weight of the components and material handling. Based on this, the paint booths are classified into 2 categories:
1) Side Draft: Incase of side draft paint booth, the air is sucked from the backside of the operator and exhausted away from him and the component in front of the operator. Such paint booths are useful where the components can be easily rotated since the operator can to paint in one direction only.

2) Down Draft: Incase some cases, the components are heavy and huge and it is not possible to rotate the component to paint on all sides. The operator needs to move around the component to paint. In such cases down draft type of paint booths are used. The air is sucked from the top of the paint booth and the draft is created in such a way that the air with over-sprayed paint particles is exhausted from the bottom of the booth.

C) Based on the Level of Filtration of Incoming Air:
The standard paint booth can control the exhaust and the over-sprayed paint particles from ruining the paint finish. However, the quality of air coming inside the paint booth, in terms of atmospheric dust level in the air can be controlled through various levels of filtration:
1) Open Booth:
In such booths, the air is sucked from the adjacent atmosphere and used for providing draft inside the paint booth.
2) Negatively Pressurized Paint Booth:
In such booths, the air draft is created due to the exhaust created by the exhaust blowers. However, the air is sucked through air filters which filters dust up to 20µ size. Thus, the dust level in the incoming air is controlled in such paint booths.
3) Positively Pressurized Paint Booth:
Incase the component calls for finish of utmost quality, the paint booth can be pressurized by adding Filtered Air Inlet System, thereby, preventing any dust from entering the paint booth up to the size of 6µ. Air is first sucked from the atmosphere through primary filters and is forced into the paint booth by suction blowers through fine secondary delivery filters. The inlet airflow is designed in such a way that it is always higher than the exhaust in the paint booth, thereby, creating positive pressure in the booth and preventing any dust from entering.

Powder Coating Booth

Gel manufactures and sets up powder coating systems for varied applications and components of various sizes. Powder coating booths manufactured by Gel comes with cyclone based recovery system wherein the excess powder which has been sprayed can be reused.

Over sprayed powder gets collected in the Hopper and due to high velocity-suction, it gets carried to cyclone. In the cyclone, with spiral action, the powder gets collected in the container and air goes out through ducting. This collected powder can be reused thereby saving cost and increasing booth efficiency.

Our efficient design and recovery system provides quality surface finish at optimum powder and power consumption.

Pretreatment Plant

Catering to industrial requirements and applications, we also manufacture and set up various Pre-treatment Plants to meet clients specific requirements, like:
   1)  7 - 9 Tanks dip/spray Zn phosphating plant.
   2)  Single stage Industrial Spray cleaning cum drying machine.
   3)  Indexing type Spray cleaning machine.
Totally free of Hazardous Chlorinated Solvents, C.F.C. or Flammable Chemicals, pre-treatment process performs both mechanical (spray) and chemical cleaning actions.

Material handling is easy using overhead conveyors and it requires minimal effluent treatment with Iron Phosphate. Pre-treatment plants are ideal for medium to high volume cleaning operations and require minimum operator labour input.

We offer choices of Dipping or Spraying application, Iron or Zinc Phosphating Solutions, Separated Cleaning and Phosphating Zones or Combined Chemical Zones.

Industrial Ovens

<div class=

We at Gel Engineering manufacture industrial ovens for various heating applications such as drying, curing, baking etc. These are closed chambers where the components are heated using principles of convection or Radiation. These ovens are equipped with various types of temperature control and measuring equipments to control heating. The ovens consist of supporting structure, main body, heating chamber, Hot air circulation system, exhaust system and centralized control panel. Various safety features are also incorporated in these ovens to ensure operator ease and safety.

Classification
We manufacture two types of ovens which are classified as follows:
Forced Convection Oven: These ovens work on the principle of heat transfer through convection wherein hot air is circulated through the heating chamber as heat transferring media. The hot air transfers heat onto the component thereby attaining the desired temperature. Appropriate exhaust system to replace the air inside the oven and safety features, through the centralize control panel, ensures high efficiency of the ovens. Selection of source of heating depends on various factors such as temperature required, production rate, size and weight of the components etc.
Various sources of heating can be:
   1)  Electric Ovens
   2)  Diesel Fired Ovens
   3)  LPG Fired Ovens
Infrared Oven: Infrared Ovens are preferred only when the surfaces to be heated are flat. Since infrared ovens work on the principle of radiation, heating is limited to the region where the infrared rays are focused. The advantages of infrared ovens are that the temperature required to heat the components is achieved in lesser time. Also, incase only the outer surface of the component needs to be heated, the rays focuses on the outer surface and the heat loss due to heat transfer throughout the component is saved.

Industrial Washing Machine

Industrial Washing Machine is a component cleaning machine in which high pressurized degreasing/phosphating water is sprayed over mechanical products through nozzles in order to remove excess oil over the surface. It removes any grease, oil or other impurities on the components.
Featured with eco-friendly operator & low cost automation our washing machines offer low operating maintenance. Characterized with solid state design, they also offer immediate access to cleaning. They also offer three times reduction in electricity as compared to conventional washing machines and also have reasonable structure, easy operation and long-life service.
Based on the components and the required production, washing machines can either be batch type or continuous conveyor type.
The components are passed through series of stages which includes:
1) First Stage through pressurized hot water with degreasing agent
2) Dripping zone/ dry
3) Second stage (if required) hot water
4) Drying zone
In case of batch type system, the component is placed inside the washing machine and the sequence is set using PLC control. These washing machines are automatic and the operator only needs to load/unload the component.
In case of conveyorized washing machines (Single stage or multi stage), the components are loaded from one end and they go through series of stages before coming out of the washing machine, completely washed to be unloaded.
