BOPP FILMS
Biaxial Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films are manufactured out of polypropylene by casting into film and further stretching it into the machine and cross directions. The BOPP films have excellent clarity and smooth surface, good chemical and abrasion resistance. Selected BOPP films also provide resistance to UV light. These films are preferred to achieve good moisture barrier.
Chiripal Poly Films offers wide range of BOPP films in transparent, metallized, cavitated white/pearlised, crystal clear, matt, solid white.
 

Metallized films are produced by a thin layer of aluminum deposition on the top of the BOPP or BOPET films. The films that look silver in appearance enhance the aesthetics as well as the barrier properties of the film, making it more suitable to use into the packaging to improve the shelf life of the product.
Generally, metallization is preferred on a treated surface to have good adhesion with metal. The metal deposition measurement is done by the optical density level which in turn gives different barrier levels.
Chiripal Poly Films ltd makes food grade BOPP and BOPET films in accordance with EC and FDA regulations. Specific document and material safety data sheet for the film grades are available on request.
 

Coated films are the offline process of coating the aqueous/solvent based chemicals enhancing specific properties in the film. The common coated films enhances the barrier, runability, heat sealing range, and it’s used in some specific applications like overwraps, special printing applications, cheese packaging, etc. This can be achieved by different coatings like PVDC, acrylics, and many other coatings.

Chiripal Poly Films aims to move into backward integration by entering PET Resin manufacturing, which will ensure consistent supply of raw material to BOPET film plants in terms of quality and supply-chain in all conditions. This plant will also have different product categories to cater different segments including textiles and PET bottles.
