A pneumatic pulse-jet system provides continuous, automatic bag cleaning. On a timed cycle, a burst of compressed air is directed down through a venture at the top of bag. This includes clean air into the bag setting up a pneumatic shock wave inside it. The air flow through the bag is momentarily stopped, the bag is firmly flexed, causing the accumulated dust particles to drop off the bag into hopper. Since only few row of bags are cleaned at a time there is no interruption of airflow through the filter. This provides a smooth operating dust control or material handling system. Best Filtration efficiency of Bag Filter system (upto 94%) thus superior emission norms (20-55mg/Nm3).
Reverse air bag systems mostly large reverse gas type fabric filters for Cement Kiln and Ferro alloys Furnace lime kilns and metallurgical processes. The Reverse Air Bag House (RABH) is a custom-built filter, designed for cleaning gases with typically high flow rates and high temperatures.
RABH have been designed to clean emissions from various industrial processes and handle a wide range of gas volumes from 60,000 m3/hr. to more than 15,50,000 M3/hr. Depending upon the duct characteristics, BKF offers the most economical and efficient cleaning method to minimize pressure drop across the bag house.
The typical RABH is modular in construction, the modules being set in pairs, this construction and operation of the units not only offers control on velocity profiles, but also facilitates on-line maintenance. The units - being custom built and voluminous - are dispatched knocked down to structural and panels.
Cartridge filters are available in vari ous lengths and materials of construction A cartridge filter’s flow is in the opposite direction of a bag filter — from the outside in. This requires that the construction of a cartridge filter be strong enough to have a core with a high burst strength and does not rely on the filter vessel itself for compression strength. Filter alignment rods either tempo rary are usually included with a cartridge vessel to assist with installation and removal. These alignment rods allow the filter to slide and be guided over a rod or shaft and become increasingly important to support the filter and help with changeout if the filter vessel is horizontal or on an angle. Orientation of the cartridge filter vessel can be based upon available plot area or the need to reduce the physical height of long-length cartridge vessels to help with access during removal, replacement, and aid with liquid drain age before filter changeout. Cartridge filters can be built with metal end caps and other high-temperature (450°F)solvent-resistant materials. We have supplied numerous Cartridge Filter System using Pulse Jet technology for various applications and gas volumes ranging from 1000 m3/hr to 12000 m3/hr.
