APPLICATION

APPLICATION

The Petroleum Jelly are used as an ointment base, protective dressing and soothing applications to skin. These gels offer excellent barrier to moisture and thus prevent moisture loss from skin. AOC Jellies are used in formulating various cosmetic and personal care preparations like hair conditioners, hand cleaners, lip balms, massage creams, moisturizing lotions, and sun care products and in various pharmaceutical applications such as skin protecting ointments, medicated ointments etc.

APPLICATION

Paraffin wax, colourless or white, somewhat translucent,hard wax consisting of a mixture of solid straight-chain hydrocarbons ranging in melting point from about 44° to 68° C (120° to 150° F). Paraffin wax is obtained from petroleum by dewaxing light lubricating oil stocks. It is used in candles, wax paper, polishes, cosmetics, and electrical insulators. It assists in extracting perfumes from flowers, forms a base for medical ointments, and supplies a waterproof coating for wood. In wood and paper matches, it helps to ignite the matchstick by supplying an easily vaporized hydrocarbon fuel.

APPLICATION

Thickeners and viscosity index improvers are polymeric, and are added to lubricants to reduce the degree of change in viscosity seen at high and low temperatures.Mineral oil lubricants become less effective at high temperatures because heat reduces their viscosity and film-forming ability. The traditional solution to this problem was to make seasonal oil changes in some applications. With the advent of viscosity improvers, that’s no longer necessary or desirable.When viscosity improvers are added to low viscosity oils, they effectively thicken the oil as temperature increases. This means that the lubricating effect of mineral oils can be extended across a wider temperature range.

APPLICATION

Transformer Oils are electrical insulating oils produced by distillation of virgin paraffinic and naphthenic crude oils followed by modern technologies involving high pressure hydrogenation and hydro-treatment. All the processes are monitored closely and appropriate Base Oil fractions are selected for further processing. Further processing involves removal of moisture and polar impurities to obtain good electrical properties. The technologies result in products with very low pour point, excellent oxidation stability, cooling characteristics and electrical properties. These properties make them suitable for the most demanding transformer applications.
