The modular nozzle design allows a rapid replacement of components when required. The two-component shaft (patented) with varying design features assures excellent insulation in the front area of the shaft and the least possible loss of heat between the hot runner nozzle and the cavity.

Where requirements are high in terms of appearance, reduced cycle times, minimum shear stress and large gate cross-sections, valve-gate technology provides the solution.

Replaceable Valve Pin Guides

The new innovative design of the contouring needle guide and the optimised valve-gate needle allow non-contact and low-wear gate closing. The PM needle guide made of metallurgical powder steel ensures economical and virtually wear-free operation. While closing the needle is first centered through a tapered guide until it lowers precisely into the cylindrical guide. Another advantage is the separation of needle guide and material tube, which means that any necessary change of needle guide is a simple procedure. Gate diameters of 1.0 mm to 4.0 mm are selectable.

Type LA

The needle is centred by means of a conical guide, until it fully and precisely enters the cylindrical guide (to the axis of the gate bore).

PE Pressure & Non Pressure Structured Wall Pipes up to Ø4000mm

Krah AG, the German machine manufacturer, has developed a complete production line to produce pressure pipes in diameters ranging from DN/ID 300mm to DN/ID 4000mm made of a compound of polythelene reinforced with fibres to unite the well-known properties of thermoplastics with the significant characteristics of fibers.

The machine is designed similar to the well established KR Series production machines, applying the winding process to produce pressure pipes up to 10 bar working pressure. Moreover it can be upgraded to the characteristics of the conventional KR Machine, so that now one single machine, the so called KDR machine, is able to produce structured wall Non-Pressure Pipe Systems as well as solid wall PE-GFR Pressure Pipe Systems.

However, the equipment is not only designed to manufacture the pipes themselves, but it is able to produce an integrated electro fusion joint and the complete range of fittings for pressure as well as non-pressure applications.

High production output, enormous flexibility, short setup and change over times, simple operation, a perfect joint and more application facilities for the products are the main characteristics of all Krah machines.

Moreover, the customer decides which pipe diameters are needed to satisfy the market requirements and he purchases only the necessary production tools for these pipe diameters. This allows the customer the optimum choice of equipment with the possibility to upgrade the equipment later by purchasing production tools in other diameters. Such an upgrade does not require any modifications to the machine. Furthermore every pressure class can be produced without the necessity to invest in further dies or special tools.

Various formulations of high density polyethylene (PE 63, PE 80, PE 100) can be used to produce the requested end product, thus providing all positive characteristics compared to other stiff pipe materials like concrete, steel, etc.

The DR Series is designed to produce, in the most economical and ecofriendly way pipes, fittings and manholes in diameters ranging from DN/ID 300mm to DN/ID 4000mm and in lengths from 1m up to 6m and on special request even longer, 6m pipe length has become a standard length because of their easy to transport and handling.

  • Extruder: The extruder has grooved feed section and special mixingPlastic Drum element to facilitate processing of HMWHDPE producing homogeneous melt at low temperature. It can process HMWHDPE having HLMI as low as 8.
  • Extruder Drive: Helical speed reducer with hardened and ground gears ensure high efficiency (0.96 typically) and help cut energy costs.
  • Accumulator head: Accumulator head features streamlined melt flow that eliminates problems due to weak weld lines on parison. It is of first-in first-out design to prevent thermal damage of melt.
  • Total machine control: Besides parison programming, machine sequence control and temperature control are effected by the PLC
  • Blow unit: Bottom blow unit is of simple design. Parison stretching movement is by pneumatic cylinder with positive mechanical stops


Advantages of blow moulding over rotational moulding:

  • Blown molded 500 liter barrel has weight 9 – 11 Kg per container as against 14 – 14.2 Kg of rotational moulding (Saving of raw material to a tune of 40 % possible)
  • Production capacity of 28 nos of barrel using blow moulding machines is possible against 4 to 8 barrel using rotational moulding
  • Roto moulded barrel cracks if dropped from height but blow moulded barrel passes the drop test
  • Blow moulded container can have 2 layer structure integrated to impart special properties as needed
  • Blow moulding is highly energy efficient. Roto moulding is power intensive
  • Material handling is simple in blow molding process as against pulverizing of granules required in roto moulding
  • Space required for blow moulding machines is lesser compared to rotational moulding

PET bottles recycling lines

The quality of the PET flakes manufactured by the AMUT recycling technology is almost comparable to the virgin PET:

  • The glue residuals are almost absent;
  • PVC and floating material are reduced to the minimum;

  • Residual of soda is insignificant, as confirmed by the measurement of pH rise.

Extrusion lines for foils, sheets and multicellular panels
AMUT applies more than 50 years experience in plastic sheet extrusion to offer its Customers complete and technologically advanced lines to produce foils and sheets from a wide range of thermoplastic materials, to be used for a large number of different applications.
The AMUT production range includes extrusion lines with nominal width from 400 to 3300 mm and thickness from 150 microns for foils up to some centimeters for sheets or multicellular panels.
The number of co-extruders is defined depending on the specific needs of the customer and the characteristics of the finished product. Using the AMUT extrusion lines, sheet configuration up to 9 layers and output capacity over 4000 kgs per hour can be obtained.

Sheet for thermoformed food packaging, with and without barrier layer. Layers can be co-extruded or laminated for airtight seal. They can be treated for printing or metalizing. Specialty execution for form fill-seal automatic lines.

Tyre Debeader

The Tyre Debeader removes the beads from radial truck tires. Operation of the unit makes it a natural for shredding operations. Removal of the bead wire prior to shredding allows for a cleaner end product and provides less wear on the moving parts of the shredder. Two Stages Extruder

Our series of two stages extruders are consisted by two steps. The first stage is co-rotating twin screw extruder. And the second one is single screw extruder. The first compounding twin screw extruder runs at a high speed for good mixing and high output capacity. Then the single screw extruder finishes extruding process. The screw inner cooling system can avoid the melt overheating.
