Boric Oxide

Boric Oxide ( Di-Boron Trioxide) offered is available in form of hard glassy material with granular texture which upon exposure to atmosphere slowly absorbs water, reverting to boric acid. Having solubility in water, it is used in areas where B2O3 is needed without presence of sodium/calcium as well as in areas where water would be detrimental to process. Some of its uses include for production of certain types of glasses like optical and telescope lenses, electronic glasses, medical glasses; used in glass formulation that results in reduction of melting temperature; provides for enhanced aqueous and chemical durability.
