Our engineers, specially trained in construction management, are responsible for ensuring efficiency in project execution. They supervise the erection and construction of project at customer’s site. Each aspect of the plant erection, down to the kind of construction tools to be used for each discipline, is planned for an integrated and in-time project execution.
A daily progress report is mandatorily shared with all project stake holders to highlight issues, resource usage and activity completion dates.
A dedicated assembly unit housed in a 1900 M2 area caters to the requirements of two types of fabricated items. One unit handles stainless steel fabrication and assembly for high purity water and the other caters to standard steel and plastic based fabrication.
The High Purity Water Treatment Plant assembles RO and UF skids using high quality stainless steel fittings. Special welding machines like Orbital Welding, Fusion Welding, Spot Welding machines are used for fabrication and assembly of the skids.
The industrial section of the facility assembles all types of skids for RO, UF and other systems including dosing skids. This section has necessary tools, tackles, welding machines, and material handling systems that allow assembly of upto 6 skids of different nature, at any given point in time.
At Wipro Water, we understand that both design and engineering functions are equally important, and thus entrust the ownership of both to a common lead. This allows preemptive action for possible conflicts between the two functions. Our function-specific team structure ensures highest quality drawings/documentation within the required time frame to meet project deadlines.
Our experts integrate robust design methods and tools to produce effective and accurate design parameters. Models are created using 3D drawings for visualizations that help minimize site errors, while extraction of Bill of Quantity from approved drawings ensures lean manufacturing and no short supplies. A customized software called ‘SPUSSELS’ is used for pressure vessel designing of fast and error free fabrication drawings of all types of vessels.
A dedicated team of experienced professionals trained in advanced project management tools and systems are deployed for efficient execution of projects. A robust review mechanism helps keep a check on project timelines. A tight team structure combined with robust governance creates a full proof mechanism to track progress, plan for pitfalls, and manage deviations. The project head is supported by a team of project leads, managers and engineers. This team is, in turn, supported by dedicated resources from procurement, manufacturing, sub-contracting, site management and commissioning experts to ensure that all customer commitments are met satisfactorily.
