Decoking Pig
- Decoking pig is an indispensable tool for Cleaning the total hard coke deposits formed in the inner surface of furnace tube(coil)
- This replace conventional cleaning of furnace tubes either by chemical or combustion method
- Pigs fitted with pins uniformly studded around the surface of the pig throughout its length while travel through the tube and scrapes the hard coke deposits from the inner surface of tubes and coils
- As the coke deposits are removed bigger size pig is used to further scrapping the coke till the entire coke deposits are removed.
- This ensure safe deposits removal in a short time without damaging the tube(coil)
