The roots of the Ultra International Group dates back to the 19th Century in the picturesque town of Kolkata set amidst the East Bank of Hooghly. It was here that Mr. Prahalad Roy Sanganeria, in 1929, started business in Perfumery Compound, Raw Materials and Packing Materials in the name of
Prahalad Roy found no contradiction in pursuing business goals with the dedication of a saint, emerging as one of the foremost trading house. The principles by which he lived were soaked up by his son, Sant Kumar Sanganeria.

Company has a fully equipped laboratory at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, U.P. & team of qualified chemists runs this laboratory. Our laboratory is tasked with inspection of our raw materials and finished products to ensure that the Global performance specifications and established World Class quality standards have been adhered to. All the measuring instruments in our laboratory are calibrated maintained and tagged at specified intervals as recommended by the test equipment manufacturers .
The Flavour Division has also been GMP Certified. This reference frame, recognized around the world, guarantees that the food products we deliver are safe.
The Company maintains an open communication channel with its consumers and customers and carefully monitors the feedback to continuously improve its products and services and set quality standards to fulfill them. SAFETY
Ultra International has made a voluntary commitment to the safety of its Blending Plants by implementing the International Safety Evaluation System (SIES).
Company recognizes its responsibility to ensure safety and protection of health of its employees, contractors and visitors in all its operating sites, which include manufacturing, sales and distribution and offices during work and work related travel. Work is already underway towards obtaining ISO 14001:2004. Company's all the Work related to Quality, Environment & Occupational health /Safety is aligned with the Ultra Group's.
Ultra's R&D Department works in collaboration with the Group's three divisions: Raw Materials, Perfumery and Flavours. Its vocation is to harness all modern analytical resources with a view to enhancing our knowledge of the extracts and essences that the company sells. It also plays a role in the creative phase leading to Fragrances and Flavours, thanks to innovative projects that reproduce smells and tastes that are as close as possible to nature.
Its development work includes maintaining a low content of controlled substances for certain extracts, finding a use for extraction residues, and, in general, innovating with and/or renovating classic as well as little-known extracts.
Exploring new technological avenues can lead to original aromatic extracts � this is another essential aspect of the department's work. It contributes to enriching Ultra's ranges and provides Perfumers and Flavourers with products offering unsuspected facets.
Participating in national and international professional projects (IOFI-IFRA) and in ground-breaking research in collaboration with renowned scientific teams, all contribute to generating a professional image for the company that is acknowledged in the world of natural products, flavours and fragrances.
