• O-Rings are the most basic form of sealing, and play a very vital role in applications ranging from generators, compressors, gas-springs, automobiles to LPG regulators.
• Our Seals and O-Rings are compression and injection molded, and manufactured in a variety of sizes and elastomers, including NBR, EPDM, Fluoroelastomers, Silicone and Polyacrylate rubbers.
• Since the seals and O-Rings are exposed to severe conditions during their end-use, we design our rubber compound formulations such that, not only is the stringent material specification complied with, but the components exhibit longer life, thus exceeding our clients’ requirements. We check the Compression Set or permanent deformation for a specified time and temperature directly on the O-ring / seal; thus simulating the actual application conditions.
• Depending on the end-use, the O-rings and seals are designed to possess excellent resistance to chemicals, oils and fuels, and are capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from - 40°C to +250°C. Our O-rings are de-flashed in a cryogenic tumbler, which ensures minimum flash, consistent dimensions, and a smooth surface finish without any visual defects.
• We are a single-source supplier to a German manufacturer of compressors, with operations in India. Our components are directly and indirectly exported to USA, Europe, Singapore and Japan, amongst others.

Products and Applications >  Gaskets

• A range of gaskets is moulded from special-purpose elastomers like FKM, NBR, Silicone, EPDM etc.
• Governed by the end-use, it is important that a suitable elastomer be selected and rubber compound be designed to meet the material specification. Used in automobiles, diesel engines, and generators, these gaskets are characterized by:
• (a) superior resistance to chemicals, oils and fuels;
• (b) excellent heat resistance;
• (c) very low compression set;
• (d) good tensile properties; etc
• Over the past many years, our gaskets have performed very well in the domestic as well as international markets.

Products and Applications >  Anti-Vibration Mounts

• Anti-vibration mounts, manufactured from oil-resistant NBR, are used to absorb shock and isolate vibration. The design of mounts is such that it exhibits a specific deflection for a specified load.
• These find use in engines, centrifuges and industrial equipment, with end-use temperatures varying from – 40°C to +120°C.
• SBR bushes and blocks find application in couplings. These are predominantly suited for: medium speed and medium HP diesel drives heavy duty uses such as the mining and metal-processing industry flexible couplings used in large diesel generator-sets and marine industry.

Product and Applications >  Elbows and Hoses

• Compression-molded non-reinforced elbows, manufactured from blends of Natural Rubber / SBR / NBR, are used in the air intake manifold system and exhaust system of diesel engines. These have diameters ranging from 50 mm to 150 mm.
• We also manufacture fibreglass-reinforced silicone rubber hoses for hot-air applications. The hand-built silicone hose is constructed of a silicone rubber liner covered with reinforced plies consisting of a silicone rubber coated fibreglass fabric. The number of fibreglass plies required for each hose depends on the minimum burst pressure for each application.
• The use of this material is for turbocharger air connection hoses or other applications using air, where a material is required to withstand extreme temperatures. The hose may be used in continuous operating temperatures of – 54°C to +204°C.

Products and Applications >  Metal-to-Rubber Bonded Products

• We manufacture a spectrum of metal-to-rubber bonded articles, as given below. Metals such as steel, aluminium and brass are bonded with NBR, Fluoroelastomers and Silicone rubbers. Our in-house metal treatment facility, including a phosphating set-up, ensures that the metal parts are correctly treated before bonding to rubber, thus ascertaining a strong bond between the metal and rubber.
• Transfer-moulded, oil resistant NBR gas-seals, which are used in gas-springs are included in this category. The gas-seals, which have a critical function in gas-springs, are exposed to Nitrogen gas, with pressures up to 140 bar and temperatures ranging from – 40°C to +100°C. The final applications are varied, including:

• (a) Automobiles: passenger seats, car trunk
• (b) Engineering uses.
• Gas springs have now replaced coil springs in industrial and automotive applications since they offer a number of distinctive advantages.
