The epoxy resin is applied in a special way to leave ample space between the paper for all kinds of impregnations. The Diamond squares of our paper are of a size 9.5mm X 9.5mm and are spaced 6.5mm apart. The arrangement of these squares is done with their axes along and across the machine direction of the paper, so that the epoxy diamond coating lie along a straight line. Our Diamond Dotted Paper is widely used in the insulation and mechanical binding of winding and insulation layers, laminations, conductors and straps. This Paper is tack free at room temperature and can also be utilized in high stressed areas of transformers after curing. Our Diamond Dotted paper is of high tensile strength and can be used to group together the winding layers so as to yield a single solid block. This paper can be applied on multiple layers between the parts that are to be connected by heating.
