Clarypleat HE - Absolute rated pleated cartridges are a performance advancement to string wound or spun filters. These cartridges are economical, multi-use, premium quality products that are available in various micron ratings ranging from 0.2 micron to 50 micron nominal. Clarypleat Absolute pleated cartridges contain no surfactant or binder that can break down, leach out, or permit the typical problems of channeling and media migration. Maximum effective filtration surface area of 0.5 m2 per 10" allow for high flow rates at reduced pressure loss as well as higher dirt holding capacity resulting in lower operating cost. Clarypleat Absolute pleated cartridge filters may be used as either as pre filters or as final filters for bulk filtration or point-of-use filtration. They are most appropriate for use when high efficiency filtration and economy are crucial. The cartridge is made of pleated Polypropylene media and has verified efficiency of 98% at the rated microns. End cap configurations include DOE (double open end, flat gasket) and SOE (single open end, external double 222 O - ring, 226 O - ring). With standard lengths to fit most housing, these cartridges are the perfect choice when efficiency & economy are paramount considerations.
