• 1947 marked the year of the first member company of Essential Group – M/s. Excellent Engineering Co., founded by the dynamic entrepreneur Late Shri Chandulal Shah. The company was setup as an import and trading company for several reputed international manufacturers from technologically advanced countries. 

  The pioneering venture soon paved the way for the establishment of the group’s first ‘Worm Gear manufacturing unit’ in 1958. This marked the beginning of manufacturing and marketing of mechanical power transmission products under “Esenpro” trademark.

  Having initiated a successful start, Essential Power Transmission Pvt. Ltd., (EPT) soon expanded its production facilities to include manufacturing of Helical Gear units, Geared Motors, Helical – Bevel Gear units, PIV drives and Special application Gear units.

  An ISO 9001:2008 certified company ensures that our manufacturing activities are complied with the Quality Management System. Along with a team of experienced engineers and technocrats, gears are designed as per DIN and AGMA standards. The gear ratings are as per AGMA Standard 2101 – D04.

  State-of-the art technology has been the hallmark of EPT’s growth and success. In fact, EPT plays an active role in both national and international up-gradation standards in Industrial gear units. Latest CNC Gear grinding and Machining facilities ensures high quality gear units. The complete computerization of design calculation and evaluation on latest CAD/ CAM software’s plays a significant part in obtaining optimum precision in gear design.

  Our gear units are running successfully in various industrial sectors including Steel, Cement, Plastic, Chemical, Waste Water Management, Paper, Pumps & Compressors, Thermal & Nuclear Power and OEM’s. On the exports front EPT crossed borders in providing consultancy, design and manufacturing service to meet drive applications in countries all over the world, ascertaining all along, its commitment to service.
