  Electropneumatics was established in 1972 by Mr. Antony Rasquinha, Chairman & Managing Director, with a team of five persons. The desire to innovate and develop new products and technologies that would benefit the Indian industry was the founding stone on which the company was built. This underlying philosophy is the essence of all developments and the path on which the company treads.
  
  Electropneumatics started by developing and manufacturing pneumatic valves, as substitute to expensive imported ones. From this humble beginning, the company gradually climbed the ladder of innovation by introducing many indigenous products such as pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic presses and machine tools, proportional/servo technology and PLC/CNC systems, tube bending machines, honing machines, compacting presses, industrial robots, special purpose machines, hydroforming, servo mechanical presses, etc. Many of these machines have been ‘first-of-its-kind’ in India.

  Electropneumatics operates from Pune, India where the main manufacturing plant is located, spread over a land area of 62,000 sq. m. of which 15,000 sq. m. is built-up area. The Sales and Service Centers are spread across India. The manufacturing plant houses three divisions.
   

  Machine Manufacturing Division (MMD) [for metal forming machines]
  Component Manufacturing Division (CMD) [for volume supply of parts to automotive and other industries]
  Fluid Power Division (FPD) [for pneumatic and hydraulic products]

  A state-of-the-art 4,300 sq. m. machine shop with the latest CNC boring and machining facilities provides accurate parts required for the three divisions. In addition, we have full-fledged and well-equipped facilities for heavy fabrication, hydraulic power pack assembly, electrical control panel/sub-system assembly and electronic servo drives and PLC assembly.
  
  A complete set-up to produce all sub-systems in-house makes Electropneumatics a one-stop-shop for the customer’s requirements. A qualified and well-trained workforce of around 450 persons ably assist customers in selecting, developing and manufacturing the product most suitable to their requirements.
