Procured mother tubes or hollows from leading suppliers from India & Abroad are directed to a thorough chemical analysis and strict physical/mechanical tests. The mother tube are subsequently cold-drawing with determined precise and force. The OD of the tube is there by reduced by tension through a die and a fixed or floating plug, to get a precise mechanical dimensions and a uniform surface finish. These tubes are then subjected to various processes like Pickling, Passivation, Hydro Testing, Polishing, Inspection, Marking before packing and dispatch.
Cold rolled Stainless Steel strips are welded into tubes in the state of the art tube mills under fully automated precision process. The manufacturing of pipes begins with sitting of strips of required width based on the diameter of the tubes to be formed. Stainless still slitted strips are passed through a series of rollers and tubes / pipes are formed automatically on different stands with rolls and welded on fully automated process of TIG welding without the addition of filler metal. The welding head line is polished continuously with the help of automatic bead polishing machine to produce a perfect bore. The tubes are then passed through a series of sizing rolls to ensure ovality and tolerances. Tubes / pipes are then cut to length, Cold-drawn, Solution Annealed, Straightened, Pickled, Passivated and Polished before other Destructive and Non-destructive Testing & Dispatch.
