Platinum Group Metal catalysts are widely used in chemical process for reaction ranging from gas phased oxidation through selective hydrogenation of chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical feed stocks to fuel cells for power generation. All six of the Platinum group elements have significant catalytic properties although it is Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium and Ruthenium widely used.

Human beings have actually known about the special properties of Nano material for some time although they did not understand it occurred. Glass workers in Middle Ages knew that by breaking down Gold into extremely fine particles and sprinkling these fine particles into Glass, the Gold would change in colour from yellow to blue or green or red, depending on the size of the particle. These were used to create the beautiful stained glass windows found in Cathedrals thorough out Europe, such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, France. AML's vast experience in handling Platinum Group Metals for over four decades has enabled us to start manufacture of Platinum based API's. AML has already obtained GMP certification from Directorate of Drug Control, Govt. of West Bengal and has built up a dedicated facility for manufacture of Cisplatin, Carboplatin and Oxaliplatin.
Cisplatin is a relatively simple Platinum compound discovered in 1845 and is especially interesting in that it exhibits synergism with a large number of currently-used chemotherapeutic agents.
