Buck Boost Power Transformer
Single phase and three phase transformers designed to reduce (buck) or raise (boost) line voltage from 5% to 20%. The most common application is boosting (raising) 208 volts to 230 volts, commonly to power a 230 volt motor such as an air conditioner compressor, from a 208 volt supply power line. Common applications of buck boost transformers. There are many applications where buck boost transformers are used to correct line supply by raising it or reducing it to the proper operating voltage.
