Passive Harmonic Filter

Most of the mentioned filtering techniques have common draw back of higher cost compared to passive filtering techniques. Consequently, the passive harmonic filtering techniques to a large extent are still the most commonly used techniques for current harmonics mitigation of 6-pulse front-end diode rectifier
application.
Here in ACE we have developed an efficient passive broadband filter, which can suit many similar of loads. Since all filter components are passive they are rugged, maintenance free, reliable and low cost. Moreover, the filter implementation procedure is relatively easy.

Detuned Reactors

ACE detuned reactors are high quality reactors designed to be used in detuned power factor correction.
ACE has a standard range of reactors with P=7% which means a resonance frequency of 189Hz for 50Hz networks or 227Hz for 60H networks.

Ace Statcom Static Compensator

Introduction :
The STATCOM is an electronically generated three - phase voltage source that is connected to the AC system. When operating as a pure STATCOM the generated voltage is exactly in phase with the AC system voltage. If the generated voltage is greater than the terminal voltage then the device will supply VARs (i.e. is capacitive) to the system. If the internal voltage is less than the terminal voltage, the device will absorb VARS (i.e. is inductive) from the system. The control system of the STATCOM is extremely fast and therefore can rapidly change the magnitude (and phase) of the electronically generated voltage.

  1. Shunt Active Harmonic Filter is an IGBT PWM Converter which dynamically conditions your current distortion (THDi) less than 5 mSecs.
  2. Distortion Factor i.e. THDi = KWH/(Power Factor * KVAH)
  3. Reduction harmonics can lead to unity power factor.
  4. No burning of Neutrals – Reduction in I²R Losses.
  5. Reduction of transmission losses.
  6. Shunt Active Harmonic Filter results into THDi < 10%

Ace Thyristor Pfc Modules

  1. Thyristor PFC Module is Thyristor based switching module, which can be used in APFC panels in place of contactors, as contactors will draw a large amount of inrush current to Capacitors.
  2. Zero current crossing of thyristor helps to minimize the inrush current.
  3. Should be used along with the detuned reactors for optimum results.
  4. Two types of modules we are offering : 
    a) Zero Current Crossing & 
    b) ACE Precise Zero Current Crossing.
