Tapered roller bearings are separable Roller Bearings. The Tapered Rollers are guided in tapered raceways. The Roller set is retained by the cage, to the inner rings (cone) between guide flange and locating flange. The outer ring (cup) is loose. Tapered Roller Bearings equally support radial and axial loads.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings are separable radial roller Bearings. Bearings are available with pressed steel cage or machined brass cage. The Rollers and Cage assembly is generally located on the raceway having two integral flanges and the other raceway is separable. Thus the O/R and I/R can be mounted separately. We have added cost effective cage less bearings in our range.
Spherical roller bearings are made for heavy-duty applications. They feature two rows of symmetrical barrel rollers which can align freely in the spherical outer ring raceway, thus compensating for shaft deflections and misalignment of the bearing seats.
Spherical roller bearings have a maximum number of long rollers with a large diameter. The close contact between the rollers and raceways yields a uniform stress distribution and a high load carrying capacity.
The “throw-out bearing” is the heart of clutchoperation. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the throw-out bearing moves toward the flywheel, pushing in the pressure plate’s release fingers and moving the pressure plate fingers or levers against pressure plate spring force.
Clutch Release bearings are designed for engagement and disengagement of clutch in commercial vehicles and tractors.
The bearing reduces friction between the pressure plate levers and the release fork it has a front cover made of special heat-treated steel, for wear resistance during clutch engagement. Fitted with special accessories to prevent external contamination, the bearing is a sealed unit pack with a lubricant.
A ball bearing is a type of rolling-element bearing that uses balls to maintain the separation between the bearing races.
The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using at least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads through the balls. In most applications, one race is stationary and the other is attached to the rotating assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft). As one of the bearing races rotates it causes the balls to rotate as well. Because the balls are rolling they have a much lower coefficient of friction than if two flat surfaces were sliding against each other.
Ball bearings tend to have lower load capacity for their size than other kinds of rolling-element bearings due to the smaller contact area between the balls and races. However, they can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races.
Slewing Bearings are Large-size rolling bearings which can accommodate axial, radial and moment loads either single or in combination direction. They can perform both movements oscillating as well as rotational. Basically a slewing bearing consists of inner ring, outer ring and rolling elements – balls or cylindrical rollers. The rolling elements are separated by polyamide spacers. The rings, which usually incorporates a gear are provided with holes to accommodate attachment bolts. The holes may be threaded. Generally, only the raceways in the rings are hardened and precision finish. Integral seals keeps the lubricant in, and contaminants out of the bearing. Slewing bearings are re-lubricated through grease fittings to reduce maintenance and operating costs.
A universal joint is a positive, mechanical connection between rotating shafts, which are usually not parallel, but intersecting. They are used to transmit motion, power, or both.
A universal joint, is a joint or coupling in a rigid rod that allows the rod to ‘bend’ in any direction, and is commonly used in shafts that transmit rotary motion. It consists of a pair of hinges located close together, oriented at 90° to each other, connected by a cross shaft. The universal joint is not a constant-velocity joint.
