Spiral Wound Gaskets
Spiral Wound Gaskets are special semi-metallic gaskets of great resilience; therefore they are very suitable for applications featuring heavy operating conditions. SWG manufactured by spirally winding a V-shaped metal strip and a strip of non-metallic filler material, The metal strip holds the filler, providing the gasket with mechanical resistance and resilience. SWG can be reinforced by an outer centering ring and/or inner retaining ring, The outer centering ring controls the compression and holds the gasket centrally within the bolt circle, The inner retaining ring increases the axial rigidity and resilience of the gasket and acts as a Heat and Corrosion barrier eliminating turbulence between the gasket Inner diameter and the flange bore so avoiding erosion of the flange faces.

Metal Jacketed Gaskets
Metal-jacketed gaskets are particularly suitable for sealing flat surfaces of heat exchangers, gas pipes, cast iron flanges, and autoclaves and similar, By their sealing efficiency, provided by exerting strong pressure on circular rims of the flanges, metal-jacketed gaskets can stand up to 3o% deviation from the initial thickness, which is very useful in case of irregular or faulty flange rims. The chemical compatibility of the metal and the medium being sealed should be considered. The metallic jacket is normally 0,4 mm thick. Other materials are available on customer request. The metal jacketed gaskets come in sizes according to EN 1514-4 ASME B 16.21 standards, Metal-jacketed gaskets are produced in several types to meet the requirements of the most demanding applications.

General Characteristics
- Camprofiles resist pressures up to 40o bar, and depending on the sealing layer gaskets can resist temperatures up to approx, +i000°C,

Ring type joint gaskets(RTJs) are designed for high pressure applications. They are available in a variety of forms to suit different flange formats . RTJs can be used for very high and/or fluctuating pressures (up to 1500 bar), depending on the profile selected. Material selection determines use for high temperatures (up to i000°C) and in aggressive media. To ensure proper sealing the surfaces of contact between the gaskets and flange have to be carefully processed. The small sealing area and high contact pressure results in excellent sealability.
Flange Insulation Gaskets
Flange Insulation Kits are designed to ensure electric insulation and to combat the effects of corrosion often found in flanged pipe systems, by eliminating metal-to-metal contact, static current is halted to prevent corrosion and to aid in the cathodic protection of the piping system, The kit can be used to control stray electric currents in piping at oil, gas, water, refinery and chemical plants in order to increase the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems. Experience has shown that cathodic protection, together with high grade passive corrosion protection from the application of a coating on the pipeline, provides a most efficient and economical solution.

Tolerance
The gasket thickness tolerance is (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm)
(1). For gaskets NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). There are no Class 400 flange for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3 (Use Class 600);
(3) .There are no Class 600 flanges for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2 (Use Class 1500);
(4). There are no Class 2500 NPS 14 and larger
Corrugated Gaskets

Description
The corrugated metal gaskets have been proven to be both reliable and cost effective for the application on flanges and heads where boat loading is sufficient.
Corrugated metal is covered with graphite, ceramic or PTFE layer. An additional finishing layer is applied depending on the requirements of the medium to be sealed. The gaskets with soft layer on both sides are used in low pressure applications in large diameter flue gas ducts at high temperatures

Graphite Rings
Die formed graphite ring are made of expanded graphite without any filler or binders. No special corrosion protection is required. In general, it has square section and has V shaped and wedge shaped section.
Norton die formed ring are made of low-sulphur expanded graphite without any filler and binders. They are compressed in precise moulding tools to the required density. Due to the high purity of the material, no special corrosion protection is required. In general, it has square section and V-Shaped and Wedge-shaped section.

Synthetic Fiber Gaskets

The Synthetic Fiber gasket is cut from Synthetic Fiber rubber sheets.
The Synthetic Fiber sheet is made from synthetic fiber, natural rubber, filling material and dye, compressed and calendered under high temperature and pressure into a sheet form.
